Getting Started: Portable Family Freedom

The first step is yours.  Maybe you have options to give your family some flexibility.  One of you can work from home, or take a sabbatical, or you can work 4 years to take the 5th off with your lovely government job.  Way to go! Congratulations, you are working towards giving yourself a dream year.  If you aren’t there yet, maybe check out how we did it at: thesmalltownguy.com, where my husband will walk you through the steps that led us to freedom through real estate investing in 6 years.

But then it is all to easy to just stay put.  Or do something smaller than you could be doing.   That’s easy to do; it’s intimidating, it feels like too much work, or you don’t know where to start.   Let me show you how to leave behind your day-to-day stresses for something that frees your soul.   It’s possible, it’s just a to-do list.  Start with the first one, then the next, that’s all there is too it, the ship will eventually leave the dock….  Each one of those items is a step towards freedom and adventure.  I’ll help show you the way.

You don’t know where those first steps will take you.  Be motivated!

In our first year we found ourselves here:

Carcassonne, France

And here, Cinque Terres, Italy

And here: Sahara Desert a la Lawrence of Arabia.

All on our Canadian salary of around $5000/month.

We hope you’ll try to become a Portable Family too.
